Pharmaceutical/Vacuum Dryer Applications
For pharmaceutical media used to absorb excess iron in the human body, the seals must meet extremely stringent requirements due to the special nature of the equipment and media: CIP (clean-in-place), sterile conditions, FDA-certified materials, metal bellows compensating for significant axial movement, and non-ferrous metal components such as Hastelloy C™ (a trademark of Cabot Corporation). The seal is supplied as a complete assembly, including double seals, built-in bearings, shaft sleeves, seal chambers, gland plates, and bellows, ready for direct installation on equipment.
