Single seal with multiple springs or wave springs, unbalanced design, offering strong interchangeability. The seal rings are not tightly embedded for easy replacement. The push ring is secured by drive lugs to prevent spring dislodgement. The stationary ring has limited positioning, restricting spring travel to prevent excessive carbon ring wear.
